Subject and Predicate
1- Subject
The part of the sentence that names the person or thing we
are speaking about is called the subject of the sentence.
2- Predicate
The part of the sentence which tells something about the Subject is called the
predicate of the sentence.
* The subject usually comes first in a sentence, but occasionally it is put
after the predicate.
* In imperative sentences the subject is not given directly but it is present
in the sentence.
Example : Sit down.
In the above sentence, we cannot see any subject but the subject is in
the sentence.
So when we talk about someone or something ,we are actually talking about the
subject of the sentence.
In the sentence, Sit down command is given to a second person by the first
person.
The subject is You is understood.
First Person / Second Person/Third Person
First/Second/Third Person are categories of grammar to classify verb and
pronoun forms.
First Person: The first person indicates the speaker. (the person
who is speaking)
Second Person: The second person indicates the addressee. (the person
to which first person is talking to)
Third Person: The third indicates the third party individual
other than the speaker. (may be about which first and second person are
talking )
Let's make it clear with some Examples :
If 'I' am talking to 'You' about 'him/her' then, "I" is the first person.
"You" is the second person.
"him/her" is the third person.
Example :

- We prefer pizza to noodles. (plural)
Me / Us:

- Rinku embarrassed us.(plural)
My / Ours:

plural.
3. Third Person - He/She/It/They :
- He prefers cold coffee to tea. (Third person 'He' , singular)
- They prefer cold coffee to tea . (Third person 'They' , Plural)
him/her/It/them :

- Rinku embarrassed them. (Third person 'them' , plural)
his/hers/its/theirs :
